Hi, I’m Tommy Montgomery! I’m an NYC-based actor, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. With NYC-based indie folk band Times New Rita, I have done triple duty playing alto saxophone, acoustic guitar, and singing in their live sets at Club Cumming, Bowery Electric, Arlene's Grocery, and The Sultan Room in NYC, as well as Silk City Diner in Philadelphia. I have also played saxophone and guitar for Adobo Papi and Saint Street Band at Brooklyn Music Kitchen and pinkFROG Café. In my work as a comedian, I played tenor saxophone as Eddie in a Halloween shadow cast of Rocky Horror Picture Show at Upright Citizens Brigade, I have played saxophone at immersive whiskey tasting events with Whiskey Stories®, and I taught myself banjo to play Andy Bernard for a year-long Off-Broadway run in The Office! A Musical Parody. Since 2022, I have played played guitar in musical puppet shows for children with Shadow Box Theatre, and since 2025, I have played guitar in weekly music therapy groups at Creative Speech Therapy. In 2025, I played my friend down the aisle at her wedding with a saxophone solo rendition of "Stand By Me".
