Tommy Montgomery is an actor, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. He plays saxophone (Alto, Tenor), and guitar (Acoustic, Electric, and Classical). With NYC-based indie folk band Times New Rita, Tommy has done triple duty playing alto saxophone, acoustic guitar, and singing in their live sets at The Bowery Electric, Arlene's Grocery, and The Sultan Room in NYC, as well as Silk City Diner in Philadelphia. He has also played saxophone and guitar for Adobo Papi and Saint Street Band at Brooklyn Music Kitchen and pinkFROG Café. In his work as a comedian, he played live tenor saxophone in a Halloween shadow cast of Rocky Horror Picture Show at Upright Citizens Brigade, he has played saxophone at immersive whiskey tasting events with Whiskey Stories®, and he taught himself banjo to play Andy for his year-long Off-Broadway run in The Office! A Musical Parody. Since 2022, he has played guitar in musical puppet shows for children with Shadow Box Theatre, and since 2025, he has played guitar in weekly music therapy groups at Creative Speech Therapy. In 2025, he played his friend down the aisle at her wedding with a saxophone solo rendition of "Stand By Me".
