Tommy Montgomery

COMEDIAN

Tommy Montgomery is an actor, comedian, and writer whose work can be seen at Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City NYC, The Peoples Improv Theater, The Rat, and other venues across New York City. Off-Broadway: Jim/Andy in The Office! A Musical Parody. UCB: Characters Welcome, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Sketch Cage Match (Winner: Electric Panini). He hosts the character comedy show Mickey Mouse Traphouse (UCB, The Rat) in which comedians parody their favorite childhood characters from Shrek to Miss Piggy to Scooby-Doo, and Tommy hosts in character as a raunchy, after-dark version of Mickey Mouse. In 2025, he acted and wrote musical comedy for The PIT's house sketch team Peoples Sketch Revues: Foolharmonic, and he acts for Electric Panini, an indie sketch team with BoogieManja that performs primarily at Second City, in addition to The PIT, The Rat, and UCB. He performed a solo sketch hour twice on The PIT's mainstage in 2025, in July and October, after performing a work in progress concept at The PIT's SOLOCOM Festival in April. In his July solo show, he attempted to sing "Go The Distance" from Hercules while wearing a period simulator operated live onstage by his fiancée, Talia. The video of the bit went viral with over 19 million views, and Tommy and Talia were interviewed by Upworthy about how the video can help men be more empathetic to the experiences of women and people with uteruses.
